How to Take Wedding Dress Measurements

It is extremely important to take your measurements correctly so your dress can be made according to your measurements.
- Bust
Wearing the undergarments you plan to wear with the dress, wrap the measuring tape around your back and under your arms at the fullest part of your bust. - Chest
Measure from one armpit to the other across the upper chest, without including the bust. - Hips
Stand with your feet together and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat. - Waist
Stand straight and bend to the side. The crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around the narrowest part of your natural waist. - Front Waist Length
Start measuring at the top shoulder line and measure down toward the waist level, passing over the bust point. Keep the tape as straight as possible. - Back Length
Start measuring from the nape of the neck, down the spine and to the waist. - Armseye / Upper Arm
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your upper arm. Make sure the tape is not too tight or too loose, as this affects sleeve size. - Waist to Floor
Measure from the waist down to the floor. - Height
Measure from the top of the head to the floor. - Heel Height
Measure the heel height of the shoes you plan to wear with the dress.
Bridal Size Chart

The size chart is a general reference. For custom bridal pieces, exact measurements are more important than choosing a standard size. If you are between sizes, contact the shop before ordering.
